Andersen Elementary in Bayport, Minnesota is a kindergarten through sixth grade school with approximately 355 students.  Our goal at Andersen is to see each student grow to his/her highest potential academically, socially, emotionally and physically.  We have a safe and caring school where each child is valued for the person they are and the contributions they bring to Andersen. We have terrific kids!

Parents/Guardians play a crucial role at Andersen Elementary.  We offer many opportunities for parents/guardians to visit and volunteer in the school.  Our hope and vision is to develop a strong partnership between the school and family so we can work together in helping the children develop their skills to their fullest potential.  Parents are encouraged to visit classrooms, talk with teachers, volunteer services, and attend conferences.  We also have a very active PTA group that meets monthly which allows parents the opportunity to become involved in many different aspects of our school.  Parents are always welcome at Andersen Elementary School.
